I have tasted this bajji once in our friend's place. Yesterday I tried this and I came out very well. Here is the recipe.
Ingredients:-
- Rice flour - 1 1/2 cups
- Besan flour - 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Bread slices - 2 (cut the edges)
- Red chillies powder - 1/2 tsp (acc to taste)
- Asafoetida powder - a pinch
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Oil - to deep fry.

Mix the dry ingredients rice flour, besan flour, salt, red chillies

powder, asafoetida powder and a teaspoon of oil and make a smooth batter. Cut the bread slices into triangle and dip it in the batter. Deep fry it to golden brown and enjoy it with tomato ketchup.

Hi Vidhya, thanks for visiting my blog, and adding me to your blog roll! I have posted today after a long gap. Your bread bajji looks great. I have never tried it at home, will try your recipe. I love the curry leaves podi and the kalathu podi. My mother and MIL makes them at home, and it is really handy with rice and idli/dosa etc:-)
